OK, so obviously we all love Christmas. And you can’t have a real Christmas without a Christmas tree. We’ve given you Christmas tree theme ideas before.
But, given this is a website dedicated to the awesomeness of elves, we thought it would be super cool to create an elf themed Christmas tree to really celebrate these hardworking Christmas creatures.
It was easier said than done as you can always find reindeer and Santa and snowmen for themes but elves and elf themed decorations are often a lot harder to come by. Here’s what we found for you to be able to create your very own elf themed Christmas tree:
To get your elf themed Christmas tree off to a good start from the ground up, you’re going to want an elf tree skirt like this one.
Click here to buy it on Amazon.
It makes it look as though you’ve got your very own elf stacking presents under your tree! (Or maybe he’s taking a nap? Either way it’s super cute!)
If you want it to appear as though there are elves higher up in your tree too, you’re going to need some elf legs!
It’s so much fun to stick a few pairs of these in the branches of your Christmas tree – it makes it look as though you’ve got elves hard at work in your tree – you’ll probably want to grab a couple of sets of these feet and legs!
Want to personalise your tree but still keep it elf themed? With this adorable paper garland you can stick your family’s faces onto the elves to create your very own elf family to hang on your tree or decorate a room.
Add some sparkle to your tree with these dainty little elf garlands featuring glittering baubles and elf hats and stockings.
Or there’s this cute option with candy canes, stockings and elf clothes – it looks almost like an elf’s washing line!
If it’s actual little elves that you’re after (rather than just their clothes and hats!), you might like this gorgeous little garland stringing together a bunch of Santa’s little helpers.
Elf Ornaments
Need some cute elf ornaments to hang on your tree? Of course you do! These are pretty cute!
These plush hanging elf ornaments are also very cute.
And these are just adorable!
Or there’s these retro, vintage style elf ornaments – a little bit old style and creepy for my taste but it depends on the look you are going for!
If you want to fill your tree with a bunch of cute elves, buying in bulk will be the best option for you. These elves come in a pack of 12 so you’ve got plenty to spread all over your tree (if you’ve got a really big tree consider buying two packs).
The plush elves have long arms which can fasten together to make them cute for hanging on your tree, or you can just sit them in amongst the branches.
What’s a Christmas tree without baubles? Actually, if you covered it in Christmas elves you could probably get away with it! But, if you want shiny baubles on your tree you’ll want to get some elf themed ones like these.
If you want lights on your tree and you love the movie Elf (who doesn’t?!) you might like to grab a set or two of these lights!
Or, you can make it look as though you have your very own elf climbing a ladder and stringing lights on your tree with this very cool elf decoration.
Obviously you’ll need to top off your elf themed Christmas tree with an elf Christmas tree topper. This one looks super impressive!
They’re the hardest working and the best of all things Christmas so we think it’s time to pay tribute to Christmas elves by creating your very own elf themed Christmas tree.
We’d love to see your finished products, send us some pictures and we’ll post them on here.
